Proud Applachians
by League Staff
On February 5th several League members delivered winter clothing to a distribution center in the Appalachian section of eastern Pennsylvania. Our cargo included dozens of winter jackets, sweatshirts, blankets and pants that we had collected during a recent organizational meeting. We were all very encouraged by the amount of enthusiasm and participation in the project. On our way there we took in the wondrous natural sights, even crossing the famed Appalachian Trail. We were exhilarated by actually delivering the enormous amount of clothing to the center. As a patriotic organization we believe that it is essential to support our people in need, especially during the winter season in these trying times. We encourage all those reading this to contact us and assist with the project! Many thanks to those who assisted and contributed. Expect similar drives and fund-raising in the near future.
Too often we are bombarded with appeals for assistance to other countries including the recent disasters in America and nearby. What about our own poor and destitute here at home? There are no telethons or fund raising efforts for our folks in desperate need.
Think about sending a small contribution to those at home when they are in need! Click here to make a contribution.

Conference speakers from left to right: Sam Dickson, Paul Fromm, Matthew Tait, Jared Taylor, Joe Sibley, and Louis March.
Despite unprecedented threats and intimidation, the 2010 American Renaissance conference took place in the Northern Virginia as originally planned. Four hotels successively broke their contracts to hold the event—the last one just two days before the conference was to begin—so we sent out notices to registrants telling them there was to be no conference.
However, our supporters refused to let us cancel! So many people told us they were coming anyway that we put together what turned out to be a very successful last-minute program attended by 70 supporters. Now we are getting complaints from people who say they would have flown across the country if only they had known, but we did not even have a venue until the night before the meeting. There is a tremendous appetite for our people to gather, and hear straight talk about the crises our nation faces, and we were immensely heartened by the spirit of solidarity and commitment that galvanized this conference.
Three of the originally-scheduled speakers were on hand: Sam Dickson, Louis March, and I. The others had changed their plans, but we had first-rate stand-ins: Attorney Joe Sibley, Canadian activist Paul Fromm, and BNP candidate for Parliament Matthew Tait.

There’s a textbook response to a Hate Crime Hoax: the Main Stream Media creates a circus, with politicians, administrators, and left wing students demanding investigations, sensitivity training, and swift justice to the perpetrator of the terrible crime. But when it turns out that a left wing and/or minority student is actually responsible, then they tuck a brief story on page 12 and never speak of it again.
We can only wish for such a textbook response at University of California at San Diego, which is going through what dozens of outlets are calling “a string of racist incidents”. As so often, they have a pesky habit of being committed by minorities. But despite these revelations, administrators, politicians, the media, and minority students continue with their hysterics as if they were committed by white students. continue reading
